Scheduling & Fees

Fees:

30-minute Zoom consultation: Free

Fee per hour: $200
Intake and attachment interview: $400 (2 hours)

Ongoing weekly or biweekly session: $300 (1.5 hours)

I find that 1.5 hours is what is needed for the emotional depth and intensity of this kind of therapy work, either once a week or every other week. The first session is a one-time, 2-hour intake and attachment interview that also includes reviewing intake forms together and learning more about the areas you would each like to address during the course of our work.

Payment:

I accept credit cards and cash.
Payment for counseling is on a per-session basis.

Online Scheduling:

You may schedule appointments using the Therapy Portal online scheduling tool. You will gain access to this tool when you access your standard paperwork.

Insurance:

I do not take insurance for couples work.

I am not on any insurance company panels and I am not able to bill insurance for you. In our work, your relationship (rather than an individual) is the focus, and unfortunately, most insurance plans do not view this work as medically necessary, so they typically will not cover it.

Unfortunately, it is unlikely that you will receive any reimbursement for our sessions.

If you would like to check to see if you are one of the very few who have a plan that offers reimbursement for couples work, I suggest calling your insurance representative and asking if they will accept CPT code 90847 with a diagnostic code of ICD-10 Z63.0. These are the only codes I am able to use to code these sessions.
